This little church was targeting to be closed by the diocese. The parishioners came to me to put together a Hail Mary brochure to assist them when they made their appeal and to show the higher-ups what a special and viable church it was. Since it was a last ditch effort, they also wanted a memento to remember the church by should they fail. I designed the piece to work on two levels. Flipping through it you saw photos and read sentimental quotes from the members. Unfolding the spreads revealed the nuts-and-bolts info of financials and growth. Alas, the church was closed, but members thanked me for this piece long afterwards.
